Very welcoming staff in a beautiful setting.. We were walk-ins and didn’t get the usual high end restaurant disdain but instead a friendly of course! Chose the 6 course tasting and every single dish was a work of art both visually and palate wise… exceptional from start to finish! Wait staff was wonderful and friendly and executed flawlessly….. Highly recommended!!

We love this restaurant! The atmosphere is attractive with trees and plants along the isle to your table. The three course prix fixe has wonderful choices and our waiter was very helpful in describing and making the selection easier. We opt for the wine pairing which introduces us to wines we’d never choose that pair perfectly with each course. I highly recommend it.

An unforgettable evening at La Pavillon. The service was nothing short of spectacular, every detail was thoughtfully anticipated, including careful attention to my daughter’s food allergies, which made us feel truly cared for. The highlight of the night was when my daughter had the chance to meet the chefs, who generously shared advice and encouragement as she pursues her dream of becoming one herself. It was a genuinely special, personal touch we’ll never forget. A flawless experience from start to finish. We can’t wait to return, highly recommended.

Beautiful space with incredibly high ceilings. Food is beautifully presented and delicious. Every bite I had melted in my mouth. Servers were wonderful and provided good recommendations (one suggested I try the sweetbreads - I don’t regret it!).

Daniel Boulud strikes again at this lovely, airy space that feels like you've stepped into a private garden on the second floor of One Vanderbilt. I had the Grilled Black Seabass which was cooked with demi-sec tomatoes, charred eggplant, heritage and Carolina Gold rice, while my partner had the Wagyu Flatiron Steak, which came with thumbelina carrots, trumpet mushrooms, and rotisserie sauce. Both were tender, full of flavor and expertly prepared and garnished. It's abundantly clear that DB and executive chef, Will Nacev, earned their Michelin rating handily, and I can't forget about the Pastry Chef, Yohko Ogata, who made us an extraordinary Apple Tatin with Omani spiced ice cream that we won't soon forget. Thank you for transporting us to Lyon again and for always elevating the cuisine in New York, M. Boulud!

I come to NYC once a year for a conference at the end of March. I am always looking for great restaurants to entertain clients, and Le Pavillon did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the meal - food quality and prep was creative and excellent. Although the server said it is a "seafood forward" restaurant, I really want to come back to try their land-animal based dishes (which I will certainly do). I had the black bass as the main which was fabulous, and my clients had the duck and the lobster. All excellent. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I am a particular pain to deal with because I am dairy-free but Le Pavillon accommodated me with no problems. They also have a good non-alcoholic selection of mocktails and a few N/A beers to enjoy.

I’ve been in New York for the past 10 days and have dined out every night, and I can honestly say that Le Pavillon was by far the best experience I’ve had so far. Everything about the evening was exceptional - the service, the attention to detail, the food, the presentation, and the beautiful ambiance. Every element felt thoughtful and perfectly executed. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and recommended a fabulous wine from the Jura region that I truly enjoyed and would likely have never discovered on my own. Thank you, Le Pavillon, for such a memorable experience. This is a truly outstanding restaurant and well deserving of all the accolades it receives. I will absolutely be back for more.
